The 3.7 is known for carbon build up and sticking valves around 150k . My cousins stuck a valve at 140k. Is there something I can do to clean the combustion chamber?
thanks Gary

Seafoam is ok but it is consumer grade stuff… use the good stuff like we do at work…

Bottom line is honestly the 2.7, 3.7, and 4.7 Chrysler engines are [PILE OF POO]. There is a reason when Mercedes designed them they never built them and gave them to Chrysler after the buy out in 99. Lots of valve and head problems on all of these ohc engines… best professional advice is if you really want to keep one change the oil often 3-5k and don’t overheat it, after that good luck. The 3.8 has valve problems too but lasts 2x as long and the 3.6 is a giant steaming pile… the local dealer has 4 cams in stock for a reason… poor maintenance and crap steel… change the oil every3-5k and use good oil not just what the dealer sells and for sure no pennzoil, often they (dealer) are using oil that doesn’t meet spec but you didn’t hear it from me
