Power door locks not working/headlights won't shut off

2010 Jeep Liberty Sport

About 3 days ago the power door locks stopped working. Won't work by key fob or door buttons. Found the fuse under the hood blown. Replaced the fuse a few minutes ago, new 1 sparked and blew. Headlights came on and can't shut them off. ended up pulling the negative cable from the battery.
Any ideas on what is wrong?
We are now down to 1 vehicle.
Please, I need some answers soon

Where are you located?
Sounds like you got a dead short somewhere. A good mechanic can help find it. If you are close by, I can help you with it.
What fuse no. was blown? Have you checked all the other fuses with a 12v test light or multimeter?

I am located in Sodus, NY. About 25 miles east of Rochester. A little to far for you to help but thanks for the offer.LOL The fuse is M38, all others seem good. When I replaced it and that 1 blew it must have affected a headlight relay or something. Have not had time to check it out. Hopefully on my next days off.

The top line in my original post identified my Jeep as a 2010 Liberty. The wiring and TIPM are different.

Hi there, hope you found some help here. I also had similar problems with fuses. I think you should still bring it to the maintenance guy to check it out. But of course if you find any friends near you in this forum that can help, that would be great

Update:

I went to my nearby pick & pull parts yard on Wednesday. Pulled a TIPM from a 2009 Liberty./ Brought it home, checked all the fuses with my VOM(all good), and installed it. Jeep started right up and all previous issues gone! :BANANA:

No reprogramming necessary!
