I was being driven nuts by sopping wet foot-wells, but it didn’t happen after a car wash
Turns out a rodent had moved into my aircon inlet at some point, and piled up enough crap for rain to go straight into my blower.
Solution
remove the wipers (15mm spanna) and the rear engine bay cowling (5 clips) and clean out all the crap.
Probably should remove the blower first as it is downhill, mine had died of moisture.
Your aircon inlet is top-right (RHD model).
