The control on the dash that directs air to the defrost, the dash or the floor doesn't work. It will let me choose between floor and defrost only. Any ideas? thanks Gary |

Hi Gary, you are probably dealing with this issue: http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=104&t=82363 It happens as our KK’s age, and the work to fix it is like a heater core replacement. |

I took out the center console and removed the shield on the air box controls . I still can"t get the air to come out the dash. Which gear on the side of the box puts air to the dash or is it a combination of having 2 in the right position? I kind of think the ac cold air is being warmed by the heater? The pressures on the ac system look good and I just vacuumed it down and put in a measured amount of freon, but it still blows only 70 deg. air. Any suggestions? |
