Can I remove the AC compressor on my KK , will the water pump pulley have enough belt wrap to function? What size belt do I use?

I was thinking of the RA428 diesel.

The KK had an electric fan. The smooth pulley in the center I believe drives the water pump.
My Liberty is a 2008 with 3.7 L.

It is highly questionable if there would be enough contact area remaining for the water pump pulley if you removed the AC compressor out of the circuit.
It may also put the tensioner pulley in a bind due to the change of the belt angle. I would NOT recommend it!
You may could remove the AC compressor and replace its location with a idler pulley to maintain the proper belt pulley contact under all conditions.

I ended up fabricating a bracket and mounted a idler pulley for a Ford F150 in place of the AC compressor, driven for 5 months no issue.
