When cleaning my 2006 liberty leather seats, the middle seating area feels different than the side bolsters (seat and back). Is the middle only leather and sides something else? (Guess Dr. Z does not know his own products as he/they declined to answer)

my bad, originally posted something about after market leather upgrades, looks like you have the factory leather. |

Some of the leather is fake/vinyl. I just got done putting leather conditioner on my seats and didnt even worry doing the fake parts. I believe all of the front seats are leather, the middle on the back is the only part thats leather. |

That was the drift of what i originally wrote, but since i didn't have the factory installed leather seats, i didn't know if it still applied. Something also seems to have changed from '05 to '06, or maybe its just the difference in the slate gray and taupe seats. My brother has an '05 limited with taupe seats, and his seats feel like they used more leather in his than vinyl. The gray seats from the '06 seem different, flatter and more much vinyl in some spots. |
