yea. the steam cleaner may make the glue come off the liner and make it drop down though. Ive heard people using Woolite diluted 4:1 or so and blotting the liner.. You could give that a try.

My headliner is absolutely filthy, I usually drive with the windows down. Any ideas on how to get it clean. I was thinking of getting a smaller steam cleaner machine? |

I usually use the brush attachment on the ShopVac... |
