Polishing Stock Rims?

Has anyone tried to polish the stock KJ rims to a mirror finish? I'm thinking of trying it with my Dremel tool. I took a picture to use as a "before" picture. If I get around to trying I'll post an after pic also.

I think I'll leave it alone. There is a protective coating on it and with the salt here in FL I would have some real problems. Of course I could always redo the coating I guess.

but it does look like a lot of work - and you can't really go back to rough finish - so you need to be sure that's what you want.

I usually just scrub them clean and spray some liquid/spray wax on them and wipe them down.
