I think it looks great! Its not what I would do to mine. And I definitly would never lower a jeep, but from the way it looks now I think it is pretty tastefully done up. And I hate chrome, but it works on that.

Man that is a clean looking ride. I like it.

Just my :2cents: on the ride-height thing: Put an airbag suspension in it rather than permanently lowering it, and buy a set of cheap rims with some All Terrains or Mud Tires. Then you can leave your 20's on during the week and drop the bags for mpg; on the weekend if you get the itch to go wheeling, air up the bags, install the cheapo rims with mud tires and do yer thang. You can't get too serious off-road with bags, but it's better than permanently lowering it and not being able to at all.

well with new springs and new shocks the total would be about 800-900 installed... doing bags was an option until i saw the price tag :shock:

i eventuall might take my dad's 1990 dodge ram 2500, and raise that and do some offroading with that thing... that thing is a tank... I mean i've plowed with it before and when we had that 23" of snow here on long island the truck tore it up and went through with no problems

btw thanks for all the positive feedback on the detailing.. i'm gunna do another detailing session soon... interior this time too!... i'll post some pics!

on the list will be:

wake up 6:30 AM :?

spray down( to get the heavier particeles off)
soap it up and lightly brush over with mitt ( spraying the mitt every section of vehicle with clean water to get out particles)
rinse each seciton after you brush it ( as to leave no soap residue)
again soap up each section (this time medium pressure can be applied.. don't push or force just scrub nicely)
again rinse each section
spray a final tine the entire car and then take off water with sham
clay bar each section
use a compound/ clear coat fix
wax each section after
gloss each section
mothers back to black on all plastic
go over all chrome
spray rims with water
use de-greaser
use wheel brush
spray with water ( making sure to spray in by the rotors)
wipe with rag
fix imperfections with compound etc, or touch up with nail polish
wax


eat lunch :lol:

engine bay:
cover fuse box/ ECU/ intake / other water effected parts etc
spray with water
use de-greaser
scrub down everything
spray with water
wipe down

take 15 minute break and try relax/ prep


interior:
clean out junk
shampoo mats
rain x window cleaner on all windows
wipe down all plastic surfaces
leather treatment
strawberry air freshener ( for the ladies :wink: )
hook up all electronics

stand back and admire the work :D

I think i can take about 1/2 hour off your time because I have no chrome. add 10 min for sidewalls. aw screw it mine looks better dirty it covers the trail rash.

lol thanks... yeah i do want to get another pair of wheels for winter so i don't ruin the ones i go... lookin for a 16 inch wheel and i'm gunna try and get a tire to match the diameter i got right now, i wish i could find a cheap offroad wheel with a chrome lip and black center... i know they exist but i can't find any cheap ones lol
