Found a new product that makes engine detailing quick and easy....

I'm not a big fan of power washing my engine as I believe the pressure forces water and debris into places you just don't want them to go.
I used to use the Gunk Engine Bright spray foam until I discovered Greeze-Off by Spray Nine, this stuff just seems to work better for me.
I always start with an engine that's no hotter than warm....(You can touch it without major discomfort)....spray the whole thing down liberally with the Greeze-Off, and just let it soak into the dirt and grease for a few minutes. After that I hit it with a straight stream from my garden hose, and everything comes out clean enough to eat off of......

Of course this is assuming you keep your engine and engine bay relatively clean to begin with, excess oil, dirt and greasy build up may take some extra effort....

After it all drys, I used this product from Stoner called Vinyl & Trim treatment, it comes in a spray can, and it has an easy to control spray pattern. I covered my windshield first so no over spray coated the glass, then hit all the plastic and vinyl under the hood with this stuff, and the result looks showroom new.......

Nice. What efforts did you take to cover electronics, alternators, pcm's, relays etc?

No effort at all, those components are made to withstand heat, cold, water, and road debris. I avoid spraying the Greeze-Off directly into the alternator, but everything else gets sprayed, and washed.
The only other thing I do after it drys is hit the throttle cable and linkage with a little Tri-Flow teflon spray oil.

I need to know what material it is made from there ... if I use different products, such as I cover the parts that I use for polishing metals, for example 303 to obtain the sputtering rubber parts, take off the covers and then finish metals?
