I've been experiencing some "flooding" problems whenever we get a decent amount of rain. I'm not sure where the source of water intrusion is, but the driver's foot well is always saturated. Anyone else? Ideas to fix it?

Mine flooded the passenger side in a heavy rain - but the air vent at the base of the hood had leaves clogging (or at least slowing) the drain. I pulled the panel where the wipers are and cleaned up the leaves - haven't had a rain that hard since then - but lighter rains haven't had any problem.

on the Drivers side - there is an opening where wires go through the firewall - check to see if the rubber seal is popped out and/or something is channeling water toward that opening

It may also be worth checking the tubes that drain your sunroof (if you have one). They can become clogged with algae & mold. You should be able to carefully pour a small amount of clean water on the rail around the lip of the sunroof and see where it drains into a little plastic tube. If you can't see where that small amount drains out under the jeep, it's probably clogged and backing up. Some weak bleach solution and/or pipe cleaners (If you can trace it down and get at the clog) will open it back up.

take your jeep apart/pull the carpet till you can see a trail where it's coming from and try to follow it from there. always start at the problem and work your way up... since water doesnt run up hill. get a hose and have someone run the hose at the lowest spot to problem could be while you watch to see if the water is coming in on the 'trail' you found... if it is you know where your leak is. do that working your way up until you find where the jeep is letting water in from the hose.
