Lol. I've owned black cars before and I know how easily you can see swirl marks if you don't wash it right. Anyone have any tips on how to wash it so that I don't get swirl marks, or what product to use to wash it with to keep the swirl marks away? The paint looks so good right now and I don't want to ruin it! At least till I get if off road anyways. :JEEPIN:

There's ton of auto care products out there. Sorta like an oil debate as to what works best, is the best, yada yada yada........
I find Meguiars product line to work well, available almost everywhere and not too bad on price. Specific for swirl removal......... http://www.meguiars.com/en/professional ... over-16oz/
Using their soap, proper washing pads/towels, clay bar, polish and wax all prevents swirls. Really though it's a Jeep and not some show piece for SEMA but I understand wanting to keep your paint looking great 8)

Yeah, that's pretty much it. I know it's gonna get scuffed/scraped up off road, but I also do like the current paint condition lol.

I've heard that washing with a sheepskin mitt helps a lot with keeping swirl marks away. And rinsing a lot before washing, as well as the products you suggested.

I use a microfibre noodle mitt and heaps of suds. Suds float the dirt so its not scratching your paint. Lots of rinsing too. My black paint still looks great.

Yep a mit works well but the key is clean water/soap bucket, don't dip the mit in bucket to get more soap, rinse it off first and always keep the mit clean before resoaping. Do not use it for anything else but the paint. Yes and also prespraying off the Jeep very well of any debris will keep it from scratching up the paint when washing. A very high quality shammy is also a must in any detail kit to keep from further scratching while drying. But again it a Jeep, I used to be ultra anal about the paint and having a perfect polish/shine to it. Now I just wash, clay bar and wax of course using decent products but man it's a Jeep :SOMBRERO:
