Any recommendations for a good carpet cleaner to remove all the salt stains? I've got a nice white ring around both front floor mats that I'd like to try and get out this spring. |

Folex is a good carpet stain cleaner. You can try it. |

Haven't a clue what Husky mats you've owned, but mine are exact fit (and better than the Weathertech in that there isn't a hole for the carpet hook that snow/slush/water can pour through onto your carpet but a molded bump that goes over the hook for a total seal) and are plenty sturdy. |

I've had bad experiences in other vehicles with Husky, and that hook with the small hole keeps it in place without sliding around. Husky mats just don't float my boat but I digress. |

My KK came with the Jeep rubber mats and I didn't have the funds to get new mats. I may look into them. In the meantime, I ended up buying 2 cans of Salt Eraser from Amazon. The salt I had was pretty thick, I could've sold to Morton or something. But after taking a vacuum to it, and getting the bigger chunks off, I used the Salt Eraser. It took one can for the driver's side alone since it was so thick. The passenger's side didn't need much. But it worked pretty well! |
