Well Halloween officially kicked off for me this weekend and I was a victum of an egging. Not happy at all.

Anyway, I dont think it was on the paint that long (2 hours tops) but it did dry on there so of course I ran right to the local car was and cleaned it the best way I could (it was 11PM and dark).

This morning when I checked the area, it was a little rough to the touch and it looked like it slightly bubbled (slight fading or lighten too). Not enough to chip or anything but you could feel the tiny bumps. I'm assuming it was from that because I never noticed it before, it was in the exact spot of where the egg was and it was a circular shape which makes me think it was where the yoke part was.

Is there anything I can do or put on it to prevent it from "bubbling" or chipping any more than it has? I hoping I can do something so I dont have to bring it to the shop to eventually be painted.

Thanks in advance!

Egg on car ruins ipaint. I have heard of people using bug and tar remover or a vinegar/water mixture.

Thanks!

I got the egg off within a few hours of being hit. I was just wondering if there was anything I could do or put on to "cure" the damage that was done. I was a little concerned about the tiny bubbling or bumps that I felt and now I notice it everytime I go out to the Jeep (in front of drivers side door).

oh well, I guess if it gets worse or chips/peels I can have it repaired but its just the point of it. This is the first (of many more to come I'm sure) "ding" and it wasnt even from anything good.
