In This video we show how to diagnose and repair a very common issue with both The Jeep Compass years 2007-2017, as well as Jeep Patriot 2007-2017 specifically on any vehicles which had the 172 hp 2.4 L World I4 gasoline engines. This issue of a crank but no start situation is also linked to a DTC or Check engine light code which this jeep had ON for ASD (automatic shut down)Circuit Relay, The Code for this error was P0688. This was how we did the repair, Surely it can be done many other ways, this was the simplest for us.
