The Patriot 4wd comes in two different types Freedom Drive 1 and Freedom Drive 2.. The difference is FD2 has 4Lo, skids, and tow hooks. The FD2 is hard to find as well. The Patriot can also be lifted as well with two different lifts. A spacer or coil lift. The coil lift only does about a inch on the 2011+ models. Both do 2 inches on the earlier models. The CVT was replaced in the 2014 models except in the FD2. I had a 10 Patriot for 3 years and loved it as a DD. The gas mileage was decent for a CUV. I just needed something bigger and more power.
