First off, nice vehicle. I wanted to know if anyone drives theirs on
the beach/sand.

My buddy owns one with the 3.7 liter and the Quadratec I 4 wheel
drive system. Does this work well on the beach (providing you air
your tires down?

Thanks for any and all answers!

I took mine down to Pismo Dunes in CA. I used to ride a lot of dirt bike there and have memories of geting caught in the high tide in my 1980 toyota 4x4 solid axel, 35' 3 inch lift. There is a channel you have to pass through and if you hit it just right you have to do it when the tide is in. This time I did not even think abou it with the Commander. Waited for low tide. Dont forget the weight and keep the speed up. Sand is different every where you go, and at pismo it can get nasty. I didnt push it. Keep your speed up but look out for the dunes that drop 100ft. Air bags? Air way down and keep your speed up up up .....dont stop if you do make sure gravity is on your side. Good luck
