I really like the looks of that thing for sure, but the guard around the lights is really not my thing. One of the best looking commanders I've seen though. |

Hello Lost Jeeps members! A friend of mine had told me there was a posted photo of my Commander on this forum so I had to stop by and check it out. Here is an updated photo of what my XK looks like these days:  Its a 2006 Jeep Commander Limited with the 5.7L HEMI. Well, they don't make snorkel systems for the Commander in the States and my intake was low and very exposed with the new high clearance steel bumper, so I made the modifications to the air filter box that you would do with a snorkel system. I sealed it up and ran 3" hose along the inside of the fender and instead of popping out the fender for a snorkel, ran it back into the engine compartment and up into the cowl induction hood scoop. So its sort of like my low profile snorkel. |
