Went out to the lake to check on the logging operation. It rained the day before. The ground was pretty mushy. My wife's XK is stock with the skid package. I went down over the hill towards the lake in the old gravel loop. Our loggers been hard at it, The whole cleared area in the pic used to be thick woods, this is where we are building. Anyways, I started down the mud road which kinda had a super to the left. I hit the brakes a liiittle, and started sliding towards the lake which is also over the hill  :P I wasn't going very fast, braked and stopped  . I said dang, this mud is like baby poo :D I put it in 4lo and proceeded around the loop. The XK pulled like a champ. I kept my speed up a little because I didn't have a buddy with me to pull me out and I was on the uphill side of the loop. Didn't loose traction, had too much fun. The only problem was I didn't get any more pics. It was a blast , any jeepin is fun!

Glad to hear the wife's Commander pulled through the VA mountain mud so well. That's a beautiful piece of property you have. Is that the James River I see in the background? Or maybe Smith Mtn Lake?
