The best 2” lift is the OME. All the other 2” lifts retain the factory springs and use spacers. Keep us posted if you buy a Commander. You wont be disappointed. My only advice is to make sure you buy the V8 as the V6 lacks sufficient power.

How do we feel about the Rock Krawler 3.5 inch lift. I found it for just over 300 bucks only thing is still uses the factory suspension...but is that a bad thing?

That price is pretty cheap. I don’t know how much time you have spent on the Commander forum, but I can tell you that the two most popular lifts (based on quality, fit, and function) are the 4” Superlift and/or the 4” BDS lift. Most Jeepers will tell you to stay away from the Rock Krawler 3.5 inch lift. Using the factory springs isn't necessarily bad if you don't add more weight (i.e. bumper, winch, tire carrier, etc.). I would buy a lift that you know is tried and true. JBA is now making upper control arms for the Commander, which is highly suggested for when you do add a lift.
