Besides Pipeliners Clutch, and Wat4's basket of problems, it looks like another one has popped up. Phil Reid (a lurker here and SJC member) has just returned from Fraser Island and now it seems the KJ CRD has a bad Flow Control Valve (its buzzing) and he had some sort of bang happen underneath the KJ while climbing Bulli Pass (now its clicking in 2WD). And of course Jenko is still running a KJ with 2WD only after stuffing his front diff two years ago.

Who else?

Good news, I have just heard that Jeep are replacing my entire trans under warranty. This new trans also comes with the 'EURO' torque converter, so hopefully I won't be having the same problem again. This is great as I was going to change the torque converter over for something stronger, this way I can spend that money on something else.

Alternator pulley is also warranty, but rear pinion seal is not- should've cleaned all that grass and mud out of there a bit better.

Should be back on the road soon depending on availability of the trans.
