Thanks for the welcome guy's.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. All the Jeeps I've seen down here are very much stock standard and unlikely to see any off-road duties. As with most 4x4 in the big smoke. They call them "Toorak Tractors" (Toorak being a very inner city, affluent suburb).

Great Forum site. As you can see, it's not my first post. It's just taken me this long to realise that there's a Downunder Section.

I'll post a picture of "my little donkey" when I learn how.

Been around Ausjeep for awhile and reading LOST, thought I would join up here as it's KJ focused. I have a 2007 KJ CRD 65th Anniversary model, limited mods at this point: Polyairs, Stu's OME shocks (lift being done in affordable stages -springs coming before Coffs I hope), breathers extended, airbox mod, and a fine coating of Jambo mud underneath. :)

Welcome Glen, glad to see you have made it over from the dark side. I feel the force is stronger in NSW tonight :)

So did you do the breather extension your self?

My other Jeep is a J10 ute, 350 chev other wise mostly stock.

Our cars are both stock but I"m working on changing that.

Naw, quite a few of our members run both or have moved up from KJs to TJs and we still let them tag along, although they may be asked to do the more gnarly obstacles to make sure everything is OK

EDIT: this forum time issue is starting to make me a little crazy

Hi G'ME MUD,
let me know how the DTT's are on that long drive home. I have always wondered how they would affect the
front always running constantly. The J10 sounds pretty good too. Welcome 2 Jeep Family to LOST, 2 jeeps are indeed better than one. Looks like you have the best of both worlds when it come's to 4x4's.
