well guys i thought this topic needed its own thread

i have spoken to michael at JAA and they will attend the First LOST Aus run,

June is a bit too soon for usand a few others i have spoken to,

to organise but i was thinking August, that way we can get a good roll up, if we have enough takers we could have two trips

senic/moderate
Moderate / Hard

meeting up for lunch , then splitting off again

does everyone think they might be able to take a friday/monday off work for 2 days of wheeling?

i will post details of the camp site that we are thining of as well

let me know what you all think

Fros

I'm in for sure Fouros :D no prob with taking a day off work or any date you come up with, August is great. I'm not going to miss the "First Ever LOST Aus Run" I would prefer however to only take one day off work probably a Firday but if everyone is taking Fri & Monday then I'll take leave without pay if I have to :D

Put me down for moderate to hard thanks

Can you explain what your thinking about with

My only suggestion with the camp site is I would prefer a shower & toilet, as I have kids (+ if my wife is able to make it). If that's not the go then I will improvise without any need to alter the plans.

I don't like to wish away the day's but bring it on. :P :P

senic moderate trip and moderate hard trips will be seperate so the two trips will meet up at lunchtime for group piccies and stuff then off on our selected trips again

we will have guys from JAA and the Coffs coast jeepers taking us out on the tracks that they know

trying to cater for stock to modified KJ's and novice to veteran drivers so there is a challenge for everyone

we have a choice of camping areas as well, moonie beach camp grounds with hot water showers and 5 mins from a tavern for hot dinners

or a camp grounds known by Michael at JAA with full facilities as well

I will post further details as i get them

We could put an add in the SJC monthly mag + other Jeep club mags, & or a post on AJOR when all the details are set.

Could be interested - depends when in August. My daughter is expecting her second child around then and we will be driving Brisbane-Adelaide via Quilpie and Innaminka. Just not sure of dates yet.

Any date in August is fine with me :) I will probably want to take the Monday off as my boy is in kindy Thur/Fri & you pay even if he's not there  . I would however prefer mid to late Aug, but it's not a major.

The M-inlaw, just told me her 60th is on the 23rd of Aug, so if that date out that would be great but if not so be it. Anyone else ........

Last weekend in August is the 25th/26th. Since Sarah is expecting her child in Adelaide on the 16th I'm not sure we will be back by then.

Put us down as "maybe". We'll do our damndest to get there.
