Would somebody like to explain how to get an avatar to happen? Do I need to resize and then upload to somewhere (like aussiejeepimages) and then point my profile at the image?

Any help will be rewarded with beer at the innaugral LOST run.

here is the story

look in your profile, right down the bottom

the place to link your avatar is there

Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 150 pixels, the height no greater than 150 pixels, and the file size no more than 3 KB.

Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image you wish to link to

then hit submit

i will have a guinness thanks ;)

I cannot for the life of me get this to happen. I put in a link to assiejeep images and it just refreshes the page without uploading, I've tried imageshack and the same thing happens. I've resized the image to 3k etc etc.

Who needs a dumb avatar anyway...

Where are you taking the aussiejeepimages link from? When I first tried it, I copied the url from the address bar in Explorer. This didn't work; just refreshed the page.

Try using a right click on your avatar image on aussiejeep images. This will pop up a window where you can then select "copy shortcut". Then on your LOST account page where you enter the url for the avatar, just paste that shortcut. Hopefully it'll work.
