how much if you don't mind me asking?
or you can tell me during our long drive up to coffs

got a CB yet?

Not at all my fellow KJer.

$750 for the rims
$90 for the C-Caps

CB, well...... . I've been looking on line for a cheap 2nd hand one but that seems to too hard. They all seem to be new + I don't want to spend much on it. I used to have one many years ago that I sold to an op-shop for about $50, can't see why I can't get one for that now.

The little hand held will have to do the job, 3k line of sight .2 watts I think. Go's OK for now.

Yes it's going to be a long drive, have you given any thought as to a leaving time. I was thinking that leaving 6 to 7am would be good, what do you think.

So there light's, I was wondering what they were (any pics).

Ed: I have to take the day off on Wed due to a foot scan my wife needs. If I get the rims as planned (+early morning) & if I can get them fitted early enough (a few if's). Would you be up for a coldie & a squiz at my new feet? It would have to be in the afternoon (provided your around & don't have plans). I can pickup a long neck on the way over or you could come over to mine. I'm hoping I can go to Wooders place nice & early.

Funny thing is they seem longer than I thought they would, I'd say they will stick out further than expected but that's just how it is.

Customs hasn't released the shipment (Just found out from Wooders) so it will probably be Thur pickup & friday fitment.
Got a price from K-Mart Tyre & Auto (up from work), $7.95 fit & bal per rim. I think that's a good price (probably wrong but I'll hold them to it :D ) Not sure about the allignment, probably exy.

No, Eastern Valley way Chatswood. He asked one of the grease others & he said that's it. I thought it was $20 to $25 per rim. Shall see if they go back on it.

I just called them & he said it's wrong, they put the price up to $16 a rim. I'm going to keep looking.

Find a place that will do internal balancing weights, that way you don't have those unsightly lumps on the rim edge, that stay dirty and can also get knocked off when out on the tracks. I thought I had done something really bad oneday out wheeling, on the drive home I had a shocking shake in the steering, was very worried, but couldn't see any real signs of damage anywhere, untill I noticed a dirty spot on the rim wherethe balancing weight used to be. It had simply been knocked off that day on a rock or something. Mate I was worried for a while, had the wheel re-balanced, No worries. Since then I always ask for internal balancing.

Thanks for that, sounds good. One question, what happens if they need to rebalance? Do they have to take the rubber off and start over.
