can anybody point me in the right direction on where to get some maps to put in my PDA

What scale maps do you want? I normally use the NatMap 1:250,000 maps: I have the whole of Australia on a 2Gb SD card. OK for general driving but not much use for remote tracks.

There are very few (if any) decent large scale maps of SE Queensland available as far as I know.
