Yeah, even birthday announcements are appearing there. Traffic on LOST does seem to be dropping off a fair bit. Perhaps its easier to just say it once in one place. Or maybe KJ numbers are drying up 'as time goes by' (play it again Sam).

My Jambo forms went out today, and we already have a three Jeep (2 KJ CRDs) convoy organised (not withstanding other SJC attendees).

Got to get my stacker organised for the Desert Trip, thinking the 'must haves' are: Pat Methany Group, Steely Dan, Chick Corea (Return to Forever), maybe some vintage John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers (Clapton period). :rockon:

I caught John Mayall's birthday (70th I think) concert recently on Foxtel and the guy does not age. I saw him live once at a college concert back in 69' and he still sounds the same. Must have been imbalmed by all those drugs, and all we had was Ripple..

I can't beleive john Mayall in the 70 bracket!! but I guess he has to be........wow time has gone by. Although not being the drinker, Ripple, is a name that I don't remeber hearing, however seems similar in popularity to "Brown Muskett" for the same reasons.

As jambo is not that long after we return from our sojourn to north west Aus.(early Aug) we will not be attending this time, but look forward to your pics and report.
Your desert trip is not far off now, I presume that you have all organised and have begun the count down with excitement and i wish you well out there and enjoy the wonderful contrasts of the outback as we did.
Our Kimberly's expedition is also looming up. Trying madly not only to have every thing "ship shape" regarding kj & camper etc. but also trying to complete oustanding work projects and have new projects in place and flowing while I'm off site...now there's a challenge :roll:

Things seem very quiet in Qld! I spoke to Stu today re meeting up at Jambo. He's shipping the Grand down and flying in and out, what luxury! I've heard that there is a convoy leaving Brisbane for Jambo on both the 28th and 29th for those that can't affort to ship the Jeep (but that's a business expense isn't it).

Come on! You can do it! Looks like gi-frog and I will be the only LOST allumni there.

I've got a chocolate frog's chance in hell of getting the time off to go down, working 11-12hr/5 days a week at the moment. Love to go, would be a nice little drive. Will have to do something soon, otherwise no point in having the KJ. Will organize that beach drive soon.

I'm off work for a bit now, go back on the 11th Oct. was originally going to Jambo but that is not going to happen now, so if you's come up with a trip someplace nice I might be interested.

I have been thinking about exploring Woodgate NP near Bundeberg/Hervey Bay with "2jeeps" sometime soon.... Would only be an extended long-end. But I have done nothing to plan a possible time frame yet, just need some motivation.......... :roll:

I am having a week of in October, the week of the 4th, also I will be in Rocky on Friday the 8th and could be easily swayed into a Byfield trip
if you are keen Ross. The 3rd & 4th of October would be a good weekend for a Woodgate trip Greg if you aren't busy then, but hey any weekend
is good for me for a trip around here. I will however be away this weekend at the Parents, 15 minutes from the Freshwater Track, Rainbow Beach
Side, mind you without the Jeep and I am definately not allowed to use the work car on the beach. :banghead:
