Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has driven Walker's Crossing (the 'short' way between Birdsville and Innamincka). Considering a short jaunt out to Birsdville, into the Simpson for a couple of days, then down to Innamincka, doing corner country and then back to Brisvegas. Just interested to know if anyone has been along Walker's Crossing, what it was like and if there was anything interesting to see.

Cheers

Will

Hmmm, not exactly sure if it was Walkers crossing, but, went to Inamincka then out to some lakes north of there for a night, Beautiful, you had to drive out thru the desert to get there, over a few dunes then you come across a massive lake, I'll have to have a look at a map to tell you exactly what where it was and I'll find a couple of pics. From there we went back kto Inamincka, then down the Stresleckie to SA. Very stunning landscape.

Edit ---- Coongie Lakes !!!!!
