I've always said we shoud do a day run up Double Island, Nice drive up the beach, freshwater track ( more of a road now, but...) round to Rainbow Breach, look across at Fraser, then back down Kings Bore Track, then on to the Beach again, and back down to Noosa. |

Might have to get a loan and buy a jerry can for that run!! M. How about a Long range fuel tank/ Mine has arrived & waiting for install. Then I will need to be on good terms with my bank to keep the fuel up to it. There is a good sandy track between Inskip Point & Kin Kin thats not too hard and good scenery either a day run or overnite. It might be part of the one you're talking about CMohr? |

Kings Bore track just runs down from Rainbow and exits back onto the beach about halfway down double Island, but, this other track you talk of sounds good tooo.... Petroil don't talk to me about Petroil...... The other night, I filled 4 20lt jerries, and put 60lts in the KJ, but, I did use my new woolies card and got 10c a lt off, plus, I bought 5.00 of crap and got an extra 4c off as well. 140lts x 14c - Saved $19.60. Was $1.34lt got it for 1.20lt....Still it was $168.00 at the register |

The run Cmohr suggested is a great run, highly recommended. |

Here is another option to consider...again day or overnite run......not that far for the Sydney boys if they want to make an effort. After all it is in NSW. http://hillcrestbb.com/others/4wd.htm |

That looks good too Greg, the problem with Levuka as a day trip is that by the time you get there, and have to leave again, you only get 3 or four hours of wheeling. So the closer the spot, the more time for fun. Has anyone been to Cityview 4wd park?, noticed it on the run back from Levuka last time, it was before Beaudesert from memory. M. |

I think it was $25 last time I went to Bribie (few years ago now), might spend a bit more than that in fuel to get to DIP. M. |
