Ah Yes , THE LONGRANGER................Last fuel stop at Injune strongly advised to fuel up and stock-up on food & water etc. in case rains cut you off. After getting out there I see what they mean. Eg. Mt moffatt was approx 420-450km return to Injune. So my old 70 ltre tank would have left me short without a couple of jerry cans. With Millie in tow @ 21ltre/100km.

After you get over filling 115ltres @ $1.669ltre you can then be a bit more selective when to top-up. i.e. when cheap Tuesday petrol is on.

With the tank full I 'm carrying an extra 75kg's so whever effect that may have on my consumption?????

Wow - great pictures.

Texas can do rocks and cows - but the Emu's are in the Zoo and the canyons have cactus at the bottom...

Hey Team J.a.G - what kind of trailer is that? - it looks small enough to tow easily - but does the roof popup?

Thanks for the comments guys.

The Caravan (AKA Millie) Is a 26year old 13 ft Pop-Top. Weighs in at 600kgs before we put our gear in her. This trip really shook her around on the dusty roads. But she came through ok. I bought her about a year ago to replace a punctured air bed and have done quite a few week-end & extended week-end trips with her since. This was 2,100km return trip.

Yeah it was really interesting plus we had Fred (see Pic)to explain the various meanings. Mt Moffat had more art work and burial sites.

It would a good run for LOST KJ's

I claim a priority use of the name Chris, having been called that since 1946.

However if cmohr and CD can prove a prior claim I will cede to their rights.
