Anyone heard about it? What do you guys think? Looks good, bad? I think it looks pretty epic. I like his movies and hers are OK but wtf did she do to her lips? Anyway, just thought I'd get your thoughts on this flick. http://tinyurl.com/6htqwt

I think I'll leave any comments until the movie has been released for general exhibition, which will be in a week's time.

By "his" movies, do you refer to Hugh Jackman or Baz Luhrman? Or maybe you mean Jack Thompson, or Bryan Brown, or David Wenham, or.............

So do you think it looks good? I think it opens here a week from tomorrow or something.

It has only shown once in a few places here in Australia (last night was the release). It is not in general wide release yet - as Pipeliner has pointed out.

I was just curious if you guys think, not know, if it will be any good, or if you all had any thoughts whatsoever on the movie.

One of the ladies at work went to the red carpet opening on Tue night and then to the after party, she liked it but said it was long.

Long can be good or bad. An ok movie can turn out bad if it runs on and on. A good movie with a lot of story lines that is well written can be long and still enjoyable. I hope this movie is the later.

From what I can gather so far, this is a movie that needs to be viewed on the big screen with surround sound to get the full impact - even a 48" plasma screen will lose a lot of the spectacle.

Have not seen it and most likely will not see it, any movie is only some director bashing it into some actors to do what he interperates is the scrip writers interperation of the story writers story and then they all slap themselves on the back and say what a wonderfull job we have done and then go to the logies and everyone that had anything to do with any movie ever made gets some gong for something, phfffff, I can think of a lot of other ways to "entertain" myself for a couple of hours.

Yeah, looking forward to that. I can't say how many times I've watched the 1st one but it still cracks me up.
