Hey guys, does any one have a friend over at arb?

I hit up arbseth and this is what he told me

Nathan,

Wish I had something new to tell you, but we haven’t made much progress on the KK.

Again, it’s a demand issue. We need at least 50 people willing to pay for a bumper in advance and a dealer like All J to facilitate it. OR you need 75 people willing to pre order a suspension to make something happen.

If something changes I’ll let you know.

Sorry for the bad news,

Seth Green

any way, I wanted to pick the brains of the people that are probably going to be producing the bumper

Thanks guys

WELL.......

So I asked tha lads at ARB, and the answer was NO. Apparently I was the first person to walk into an ARB and ask for a front bar for a KK. They keep some kind of list in Melbounre of queries on certain vehichles and so far the KK had not been asked about. Seems its the same story as the commander, not ant call for it so they wont be making one. That is unless they get 100 or so definate orders so then they mightl...

So I told them, not to register my request as a single inquiry, but, to put it down for 100 KK owners from the United States as I was representing them. We did talk aboot it for a while after I told them that , seems also, that if somebody or a group wanted it so much that they are prepared to pay the design costs, they would also "think" about it...ARB seem to be pull back on the kinds of vehicles they are producing for, and just concentrating ofn the ones they know they WILL sell parts for consistantly.

So guys at this time I wouldn't hold your breath, I would think Mr Rocklizard would be a better bet for developing a bar, plus more likely to do a rear bar as well..

Sorry I couldn't bring better news.

No, Thank you very much for your time!!!! I was told by arbseth that I would need 50 to 75 to get the ball rolling, however when I asked him about a price, he was thinking in the ball park of 1250 US....

Again, Thank you very much

Nathan
