I would like an alloy one the only question is would it be legal on my 2003 model. I could make some rounded indicator bracket's to sit above the bar in the orginal location if it fits mine |

2003 model. I could make some rounded indicator bracket's to sit above the bar in the orginal location if it fits mine I'd say it would be OK if you had the indicators visable and working, I've seen lot's of fab jobs around that have made there own indicator mounts. THe big question is can you mount the bar to the KJ in a safe way, if so I'd say should be fine. But that's just what I think. |

I would say that because you would only have to alter the mounting brackets and not the vehicle or bar itself, it would be OK. |

I don't know because the TJM guy didn't sound keen on previous inquiry, unless of course it doesn't require modification to the mounting system. Packer's are out and major cutting and welding. On a cool side I was thinking an indicator mount similar to the All J's bar would look good. Surely there wouldn't be any major difference's in chassis between model's ? |

I had a chat with TJM about that Alloy T17 a few months ago. If memory serves it has a steel chassis mount that attaches to the KJ and then the Alloy bar attaches to the mount (a big reason why there is so little difference in the weight of the Alloy and Steel bars). So it may need some research to find out if that steel sub-frame can be made to fit your year. I had thought they were 05 onwards. |

the unit comes with indicators you just need to make a blanking plate for the different shape bumper ends |

we'll make em fit mate, is the steel one the same weight or nearly the same as the alloy one if so I think I would go a steel one too. So be easy for me to make those indicator mounts out of steel too. The catalogue for the nudge bar's are the same for both model's so we should be right Have fun tomorrow I want to see plenty of picture's |

well after a bit of research on LOST i have come across some photo's of the 2005 and later KJ's with tube bar's show the front and where they mount and it look's the same as the early KJ's so all should be good. Count me in to get a steel bar. Also do they just come in primer as I will just colour code mine. |
