Be careful about getting Really Big lights, as you may end up restricting the airflow through the radiator too much. I have Hella 4000 Compacts which certainly seem to give enough light whilst not being excessively large.

I got the biggest lights I could fit in my bar, and I've never had an overheating issue.

it can tuck into the guard more, it's just that there is a clip in the way which i intend to use to secure it with

I would like to hear comment's it is only the first try so now is the time for development

I guess my take on the infill panel would be to make it a little more aero unless you intend to mount something in or on it.

Here is my edit of your photo since I probably could not describe what I was suggesting:

my fist thought was as Glen's, rake it where you can, or get the fit tighter to the flare The other thing that might help but is probably a pain in the a to do is carry the existing body panel lines through - would be a pain to glass up any thing deep but something would allow black paint to give the impression that it was part of the original panel.

either way or anyway it still looks real good - congrats to all involved :D

on the outer corner possibly follow the curve of the bumper so it looks like it fits

I like it.
Once it's white it'll look cool...maybe add a couple of lights in there???
Just ask Fros, you can never have enough lights.

thanks everyone, Hi there Aussie Jeep, I went with the TJM as it was a great deal (thanks again Fro's) and it suit's my needs
more as I mostly travel around town and didn't need the bulk of ARB but still wanted the good approach angle that the TJM
allows me to have. Also give's option of winch later if I chose but most importantly a great heavy duty recovery point.
As for the changes I am limited to rounding the outer edge as there is a dirty rotten stinking big bracket for the guard mount in the way. Mikey thanks for putting colour on it as it puts it into perspective really well. I like the lights idea as well
looks sweet, thinking maybe a oval fog light and LED indicator at the side
thank again everyone, I shall hopefully have V2 done in a couple of weeks

OK Version 2 is now in session,
I left out picture's of what I have to contend with last time so here is my problem
Image

Image
V2 has risen from the blood of my hand's (I have come to the conclusion that fiberglass cuts skin as easy as steel does)

So again I ask for everyone's opinion in my quest for glory in fiberglassing. Oh and by the way I still have
to shorten the height and put a return edge on the bottom and alot of finishing work so please just pick on the
general shape. Thank's everyone

I also took a tour through our local superc__p and found these little oval 55 watt lights that would fit neatly into
the front as well. I have spent all this months pay already so no lightforce spotties before Coff's for me. No rock
rail's either. Time is becoming my nemisis. Oh well I am just happy Iam going to Coff's and Holiday's. A bit off
topic but you know I do that ocasionally, I also found some neat little LED indicators for the side too.

OK, so in the spirit of the season it's time to resurrect this thread :)

So how tall is this molded piece you are making? would there be room enough to make it a bit deeper and do a cutout to mount the stock turn signal reflector/lens in it as such:
Image

Or does the bumper come with indicators and this is just needed to fill the void on the '02-'04 models? Just curious...
