I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to those that have lost thier loved ones, homes and businesses in this tragic event ,

to those LOST Aus Members in the flooded areas Please keep safe and in high ground and dont drive through flooded roads

And i hope to catch up with you when the water finally drops

I heard from Stu, he lives at Samford/Wights Mtn and is up on high ground but they have had some land slides and rock slides.

I also heard from George Hatchman (KJ owner that I have helped with some parts). His residence is OK but they lost their retirement investment property at Churchill - water up to the ceiling.

It looks like its is easing off now, but so many people are missing.

Watching the news with aerial vision etc. I'm amazed that there has not been more reports of deaths and injuries than there has been.. its just incredible

Lucky its stopped raining, all the flood prediction maps had my place as in the secondary flood zone, ie, if it was raining at the hightide peak water would have had nowhere to go but up, so very relieved it stopped raining.
