About time to talk about travel arangements to Camp Coffs ( I am sure this was discussed over the cheecake in Qld).

I noticed that Stephen from SJC has setup a Coffs Convoy departing north from Sydney at 7am on Thursday the 9th. They expect to arrive at Coffs before 3pm. Stephen's suggested elapsed travel time is 6hours and 45 mintues (with some short stops obviously as it seems to be 560km).

There are some Newcastle people planning to tag along on that one as they pass by.

I may be part of that SJC convoy, but I believe they might tend to travel too fast for me (towing the camper, leg stretches, coffee, etc, but then my kids think I am the slowest driver ever).

What time do the Lost guys from Qld start arriving (I am assuming your a wee bit closer than me)? :)

Hi Glen,
What time are you thinking of leaving for Coffs? :?:
The earliest that we can leave is about 8.30am as we have to wait for my sister to come up from wollongong,as she is looking after the house and pets for us. She has commitments on wednesday nights and can't get here until thursday morning. :!: :D
Cheers James

James I was going to leave early (or earlier than 8:30am), as for me its probably at least a seven hour trip in total. As I said I think I would be off the pace if convoy #1 is travelling at 110km/hr up the F3. We should talk about it at the SJC meeting tomorrow evening. I noticed that Dutchie can't leave at the SJC convoy time (7am) so she maybe a candidate for convoy #2. I believe there will be a fairly steady stream of Jeeps headng out from 7am onward. There is also the group coming up from Canberra than will be coming through Sydney mid-morning. We'll work something out.
