Hi All, Well I've decided that I'm going to sell the 4 Mickey Thompson 16X8 Classic Locks. For me, flex is more important than looks, so it's back to the KJ alloys for me. I think I paid about $800 for them, so I'm happy for a LOSTY to have them for $600. Otherwise I'll chuck them on ebay in a week or so. Pic below for a reminder. Cheers, Mikey

What's the go here Mikey? Why dont they stuff? My 16X8 MOABs dont have a problem with flex, they do look the goods tho. Did you neeed to run spacers with them as well, whats the offset on the M/T's |

Hey Palla, I think it's the offset. The backspacing is 4 inches, and even after doing the pinchy, and cutting front plastics, I was still getting rubbing, so the next step would have been new bumpstops etc, Plus they stuck out from the guards heaps, and with only a couple of points to my name, I wanted to be a bit stealthier!!! I think spacers would have only made the problem worse. Amazing how an inch or two of offset can be the difference, same tyres and all. M. |
