I'm doing Scenic Rim Adventure Park on Fathers day if anyone is interested just me and a couple of mates from work maybe 4-5 of us it is the new park 4klms out of Beaudesert link for there website is below http://www.scenicrimadventurepark.com.au/ Close cheap day out I have photos of my last trip there ifanyone is interested otherwise I am open to suggestions. |

I am keen for a run early September, also I know of few spot's up this way if any one is interested in a weekend around Bundy some time, bit of a drive though. |

Fathers day is the first Sunday in September the date is the 6th of September It is not the Old Cityview but it does use the same drive way and some all be it a small amount of land that Cityview used to use. The Ridge where you can see the city from was able to be used when in Cityview hence the name but the Scenic Rim park is much bigger they have leased alot more land there are hot showers and flushable toilets good camping sites and the young owner seems to be concentrating on making the camping area comfortable he has also had the 4x4 council come in and grade the tracks to the national standard. I got no panel when I was there last and to me that is a plus below are some pictures

Dead set that last photo posted has a view all to its self. Anywhoo the strap photo was m brain fart moment where I had my head out the window looking at the side of a mud wall and noticed it leveled out further up stupid me hit the go pedal and had the steering wheel turned a little to high woohoo we motored out of the ruts and slide down the side. Self recovered using 2 straps a few trees and a slingshot effect to move my arse back into the rut and continue on to have some fun. Needless to say after that I went out and purchased my new winch for future events just like that. |

Cool, yes day trip only. My brother is getting married on the Saturday 5th I am flying my mate up from Sydney to watch my 2 boys while we are at the wedding and decided that we would go 4x4ing on the Sunday to aleast get some fun in for the weekend going to dinner with dad that night and dropping mate back at the airport that night. Thinking of starting early say be at the park by 9am if that is doable for everyone if not let me know and we can toss some times around. And yes always something exciting happening with me around sometimes exciting is good other times exciting is expensive. Plan on having fun with little expense for this one. |
