Overloading is not covered by warranty. After Ross' CV problems out in the desert this had me wondering if maybe he was anywhere near this one? It was in the neighborhood.

Looks like the bolts holding the struts on couldn't handle the stress of hauling down dip. Its not the first one I've seen do that, though not common. With a gross operating weight of aprox 600 tonne on two axles ,there is a lot of weight transfer going down dip and apply the retard and or brakes with the height of the load.
Considering I could buy aprox 10 GC Lorado's for the price of one strut on that truck, my CV problem pails into insignificance.

The boots on the CV's came off and filled them up with Big Red thanks to the mob who fitted the lift, they buggered the boots then replaced them no problem but didn't do the clamps up tight enough.
This was on the WH not the KJ. All will be sorted next week at no expense to me.
