TJM Seven Hills had a grand opening event today, and as they are an SJC sponsor a bunch of us went along this morning to take advantage of our club discount, have a sausage sandwich, and have a go at the Ramp. There was a KJ competition organised and I must admit I lost badly. Of the KJs attempting the ramp I could only do 43" compared to the winners 49". The winner was running Coopers (225/75 R16s I think) and a 2" TJM lift. Me, I had, my 3" Stu lift, and 245/70s.

I chalk it up to my Polyair bags (even at bump stop pressure) not allowing full compression on the left rear side, and the Teraflex extended bumpstop on the fronts (to prevent coil stacking) not allowing full compression on the front right. Pretty pointless putting a KJ up the Ramp but it was a useful lesson in how mods affect articulation.

Put mine on at Coffs the other year. was just beaten by a brand new JK 2 door rubicon, he managed 3in more...I later found he was in low range with the lockers on. I was in 2 wheel drive high range.

No Chris, I don't have any pics as I was sitting in my vehicle waiting for my shot at the ramp, but the TJM guys were taking plenty. I'll ask around at the next club meeting, but I don't think people would bother taking pics of KJs on a ramp when there was Cpage's big Grand pulling awesome numbers. Chris if you can and want to drop by the Regents Park Bowling Club (SJC meeting) on the 4th of November after 7pm I'd like to buy you a beer.
