My son is going to be travelling around the Canada (visting relos) and the US for six weeks from the end of November. Being a Jeep person himself (JK) he has offered to pick up some KJ stuff for me over there. With the AUD nearing par with the Yank $ I am thinking this perfect alignment of circumstances is a good chance to pick up some gear. Top of my list is a set of Samco Turbo hoses (about $269 USD over there, $450 AUD here). That's sort of where my list ends. I need some suggestions from you people. Don't go telling me about rear bars with tyre carriers cause he can't get that into his bag. So what else that's light? I've already got the Teraflex extended bumpstops so their out. Help? :D

Its a big roller bag but I don't know that Al's arms are that light. I wouldn't want to force him into excess weight charges (although his sister - who is also going) sees him as her pack horse for the trip. She's taking a spare bag for the shoes she plans to buy!

I thought of a few other things: the idler pulley, maybe some gauges (Boost, EGT, Trans temp) on a nice pod mount. Except they don't seem to make right hand drive A pillar mounts for the KJ.

What about a buy and ship option rather than excess charges - Us postal is a good rate on most stuff and it only means a trip to the post office - they would be going there anyway to send you a post card - so a few extra Kg's would be ok :)

An Alternator decoupler pulley it is about $240 here in Aus last I heard and I just had one sent to me from the US $52USD so I got all the bits needed to put cruise control on my 2003CRD and postage and still saved $80 Aus compared to buying just the pulley here in OZ.

Sorry pulley is $52 US and postage is $50US so i also ordered the bits I need to put cruise on my Sport CRD cause postage wasn't going to increase. Total was about $160-170 Australian, which meant I got my pulley and cruise delivered to my door cheaper by about $80 than just buying the pulley alone here in Australia. Hope this makes more sense.

"The Federal Government is spending nineteen-million dollars to control feral camels in Central Australia "

Always willing to help!!!

I'm big into hunting. So, if you can talk your PM into just paying for my arrows, and whatever, I'll buy the airfare, and food/lodging!

We all win!!
