Now that I have finished the air intake side of my diesel I am thinking about opening up the exhaust system. So my next mod maybe a Magnaflow (P/N 12226 (2.5") or the 12229 (3.0"). Any comments from those that have done this? Is a 3" pipe really necessary given the turbo out port restrictions?

Here is what the 2.5" Magnaflow sounds like on a CRD:

And whats your next mod?

I'm certainly interested in the rock rails and rear bar that Stu is planning to develop.

I've decided to go ahead with the exhaust system mod. The Magnaflow gear arrived today from Best Muffler in Sydney. I'll be cutting out the old system this coming weekend and will post it all up over on the AJOR site (seeing as how this one seems abit dead at the moment). Has anyone else noticed the login problem? Double login required to get in!

Yes I have Glen , but i thought it was just at my end.

Unfortunately, my next mod won't be on the KJ but forced repairs to "J's" VW Golf cracked Sump. She unfortunately didn't have enough clearance to go over a, larger than some, rock on our drive-way, (for those of you that aren't familiar with out drive it's approx 200m long down high grade that needs a grader over it - or a 3' lift vechile lol  ) Oil drained out from the impact point to empty the contents as an oily trail on the drive until she came to rest a few metres further on. NOT Happy Jan :!: :!:

Well, in all fairness the rock had no business being there   Anyhow turns out that this type of problem is claimable on insurance (classed as impact with a stationary object) with out of pocket $400 excess.

My next mod is to install my new JBA upper arms. Then Digger thinks I should "Diggerize" my KJ after the jerks sprayed both passenger doors with paint stripper. Might just do it too! Then...LOCKERS!

I have a couple of Prosport 52mm electric gauges on the way (EGT and Boost), which will be my Christmas Holiday project. No need to run boost hose connection as its an electric signal off a sensor that attaches to the manifold. Will need to drill the manifold though.

Here's the link to the gauges:

http://01f6bbb.netsolstores.com/amber-w ... gauge.aspx

http://01f6bbb.netsolstores.com/amber-w ... gauge.aspx

The ones I have coming are green light and white lettering to match the KJ night lighting and instruments.

Just need to sus out the mounting options (they come with a cup that could go onto the thin panel just behind the windscreen), and I will try to resist making something.
