I have had confirmation regarding availability of camping accommodation for dates Thursday 4th Feb - Sunday 7th Feb. The tracks are available for us to use as long as there hasn't been heaps of rain. :JEEPIN: The cost for camping in the main area is $10 per adult per night. Bush camping is cheaper. Let me know if you would like me to book. :CAMPING:

Actually, pretty good. Nobby and JaG arrived on Thursday, the rest of us Friday afternoon. Friday night and Sat am were fine, swimming and canoeing in/on the Clarence, then off for a drive. Rain started around 3:30pm and continued on and off all Sat night, but cleared up enough Sun morning to allow the tents to be packed away reasonably dry.

Some great tracks in the area - we all said we'd be back some time.

Pipeliners headed back via Beaudesert and Beenleigh, but the road was flooded just north of Tambourine so we had to backtrack and go via Jimboomba instead.

As Pipes said we did enjoy reasonable weather. Nobster & I were experiencing sunny 32 -37c days Thursday and Friday, then overcast with some rain saturday and Sunday but nothing that put out the camp fire.

Not many photos taken but here are some taken via camera phone. Danny did take some video footage though.
