OK thats Xmas over, weel done, but, sick of the rain. Bring on my Birthday ... then 2011. Oh and if its not too much to ask, a bit of sunny weather to go kayaking would be nice..

cmohr, what sort of kayak do you have? I built a Cape Charles 18' sea kayak many years ago (as shown on the cover of Chris K's book here:

and it still hangs in the back shed. My son used it for his Duke of Edinborough Gold trip and I take it out on Sydney Harbour now and then. Hmmm, maybe on my next trip north....have to see if it clears the camper roof.

Its got some scuffs and scapes, but a perfect starter for me, I just got a PFD and a new paddle, looking at taking it out today for a 3hr maiden tour...
