So...................Its was wet!!!!!

Contingent arrived at varying times mainly between 9am-midday. Danny & Tim decided that the location was not conducive to communal camping, distance from beach, plus did not like the idea of no camp fires permitted, so left before unpacking for a camp fire site somewhere on the beach toward double Island point. Cmohr however, decided that he would do a few chores before leaving Brisssy at around 4pm Friday, then after dealing with heavy traffic decided to take the LOST title literaly and "get Lost" in and around Cooroy.......arriving around 8pm...ish.

Probably don't need to go in there again though unless you want to bush walk or canoe.

However dispite the humid and wet conditions once again a very enjoyable :CAMPING:

week-end was had by all.

yEAH, was a great weekend I thought.

Pity I ate some leftovers from the weekend for dinner on Sunday night and have been sick as a dog ever since. :grim:

Nice enough spot but as you say probably wont go back, too many other places to see. Was fairly unhappy about having to buy a week access pass, just to drive an 11km campsite access road that only went to the camp spot.

oh no... it was the bbq Goannna wasn't it.......... or the that Bush Turkey, I did warn you that they were out of season :SOMBRERO:

Just lodged a written complaint on the Dept Enviroment & Resources web page regard beach access fee for Harry's Hut. Lets see what sort of response I get. :evil:

I just got a rely back, they said Yes, I'm entitled to a refund of $25.00, and it will take up to 6 weeks to get because of the backlog of refunds they have to do at the moment.......

$25.00....Hmmmm..Pizza Night.

Great stuff. I had to give them my bank details and was advised it could take up to a week for it to be deposited. That's now 8 days ago
