Now that the Easter & school holiday madness is over, and the tracks and bush returning to it's normal quiet state, can we start thinking about the next NSW LOST trip?

I have retained all the Watagan waypoints I created for the Wollombi Day Trip (which was scrubbed). Phil has suggested going down to Robertson: http://robertsonnsw.com.au/ . Other suggestions? Day trip or overnight camping?

BTW, CD has contacted me about handing off the "LOST NSW" banner which he has. Hopefully I can pick that up from him soon. CD has traded his KJ in for a Triton.

Whatever people want to do or where to go is open to discussion. But as we saw last time expressions of interest are no indications it will actually happen - early days on this one.

Jenko rang me requesting a delay to the next NSW outing due to problems with his engine transplant (which sounds worthy of a long thead on its own).

He's suggesting sometime in June. THe long weekend is probably out because people would have already made plans and the 26th is out (at least for me) because I have another trip planned with SJC.

It would be good to get some of the new KJ owners out to one of these events.

I'm good for either of those proposed dates. Just a reminder that the June Long-Weekend (Queens Birthday weekend) is the 11-13th of June (and that has been ruled out already).

Frog that first weekend (3-5) sounds good for camping?

Bumping this back up as the first weekend in June is just around the corner. Spoke to Dave via email yesterday and it sounds like he is out for any June activity due to other things happening.

Spoke to Phil and Sandra tonight - they are out for any trips in the next few weeks after nearly freezing to death up at Barrington Tops last week. I tried to contact Jenko but have not heard back from him. Dave is out. With the weather we've been having in Sydney this past week I would drop out as well. So it looks like we'll have to scrub the first weekend of June and reschedule for another time, maybe when the weather improves. Sorry.

Well this is not a trip exactly unless you count Parramatta as the bush. A few of us are meeting up for lunch on Saturday at Hooters in James Ruse Drive opposite the Rosehill Raceway. I didn't even know we had any Hooters in Australia - this should be interesting. Attendees: Jenko, gi-frog, and glend.
