Gday Gents,
Has anyone had a drama with the above. Mine is making that horrible squeaking/squealling sound when at idle and when you turn it off, i had the serpentine belt changed at last service and made a little difference , but the noise is back better than ever.
Mechanic said they spun/tested the pulleys when the belt was off and couldnt really fault them. I think i will be up for a new tensioner. But way out of my league in doing that myself.
Is this a job that can be done at home or not?
I have a 2003 CRD KJ. Just rolled over 140,000 k's
Let me know what you think or if you can give me a tip.
