I know most Jeepers will be heading down to Camp Coff's for their annual event, we however, still want to have a camping/4x4 week-end but have decided not to travel too far this year, soooo.....we are heading out to Mt May, WaterFall creek Reserve    About 1.5hrs west of Gold Coast.This just passed Rathdowney. 4 large camp sites (online booking) fire rings but NO other amentities Anyone wishing to join us please let me know... |

Thinking, thinking........................... Confused. There is a reference to Waterfall Creek Reserve on the DERM Mt Barney page, but I can't find any details anywhere. How do you book a site if you want to? |

Soooo......The expression "get in early" strikes home........Camp site is booked out.   Plan B now being investigated

Normally I would say head north but every where up here will still be soaked by easter, we have had some rain. Not that I can go camping anyway, too much work, so little spare time these days. |

We will be in Mackay for Easter, in fact all of April and hoping to check out a few close by locations on weekends, Cape Palmerston, Captains Crossing, Cathu Stae Forest to name some. Imelda is doing a coarse and I have plenty in the shed (Chief) to keep me occupied weekdays. |

The shed sounds like a good place to spend Easter, at least it might be dry in there. The roof is off my shed at the moment, because I am raising the height of the shed to provide more room for the KJ with racks on, and sundry rafter storage. The 50cm cripple wall is complete and all the trusses and battens are in place so fingers crossed I can get the new colourbond on before the rain finds me. |

We have decided to head south to Lake Arragan (Broome's Head) No booking required as this is a "first in best dressed" basis.  Everything else that we have looked at is booked out.
