You can remedy all the ethanol issues by running Startron Fuel Treatment. When I lived in Iowa ethanol fuel was 15 cents a gallon cheaper than regular (fuel prices were $1.79 then). Now it's still 15 cents cheaper but prices are 3.79 so it's actually cheaper to buy the more expensive fuel. Personally I prefer to mix ethanol with Ruby Red Squirt (Mmmm!). Also winter diesel has ethanol added to it to prevent jelling.

Winter diesel does not contain ethanol! It contains Kerosene which is #1 or K1, Summer diesel is all #2. They do not put ethanol in any diesel fuel. New winterized diesel contains additives to lower the CFPP but none of these contain any ethanol.
