My thoughts are a center fugue is a must, like when making black diesel. I have many customers that take my used to and power steering fluid after I put it throu a 2 micron filtration system and I can tell you in a 7.3the turbo responds better.

I gravity filter the oil into a 55 gallon drum and then pump it through a series of filters and then into the Jeep. I probably only need to change the veg fuel filter in the Jeep a few times a year. Luckily I live in the CA Bay Area, so temperatures really don't interfere with filtering. In the summer I can filter 50 gallons 15 minutes. If I lived somewhere cold the viscosity would be an issue and I'd need a more complicated setup. Anyway, I've been using the same system for many years and never had an issue. I'm at 165k miles now with 100k veg. It'll be interesting when I open the engine up sometime.
